Operation BBQ Relief at the Brick PAL

Thousands of meals a day are being cooked and distributed at the Brick PAL by an organization called Operation BBQ Relief www.operationbbqrelief.org

This is a non-profit organization that travels the country as volunteers to assist with food in times of disasters. They are serving thousands of meals a day to the homeless from the storm, to those without power staying in their homes and to all of the military, Fire and Police who are working around the clock.  They are driving the meals door to door as well for those that have no means of transportation. Many lost their cars in the floods.

There are meals being provided at the Brick PAL at 60 Drum Point Road in Brick:

10:30am -11:30am Continental Breakfast every morning

11:30am-7pm Daily hot meals will be distributed.

They are in need of the following items to help continue to provide these meals.

Butter, Large tubs of Margarine
Pork Butts
Pork Loin
Ground Beef
Chicken
Beef
Briskets
etc.
Cream Cheese
Zip style baggies
Plastic paper plates
Toilet paper, paper towels, napkins
Styrofoam clam shells, tin to-go trays with lids (for delivery)
Plastic table covers, rectangle or rolls of plastic table covers
Long stem lighters
Sternos
Chafing dish pans, full/half sheets with lids
Dish soap, sponges, scrubbing pads, gloves
Serving gloves all sizes

Pastas, soups, chili, sides
Coffee, cream, powdered creamer, cocoa/hot chocolate mix
Serving spoons, large slotted ladles, heavy foil
