Anita Velardo talks with Oceanport Borough Council President Joe Irace about why the town is concerned about legislation regarding redevelopment efforts at Fort Monmouth. And, with the town being the home of Monmouth Park, Irace also talks about the importance of the horse racing industry.
Heart disease and stroke are the number one and number three killers of American and New Jersey women. Linda Maresca of Middletown is with the Go Red for Women Movement. She tells Anita Velardo her story of suffering a stroke at the age of 29, and her efforts to educate other women.

Florence Germain is a nurse at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank. After attending the funeral of her father in Haiti, Florence was at the airport with her family waiting for a flight back to the states when the earthquake hit. She was able to use her training to save lives. Florence tells her story to Anita Velardo in this can’t miss episode!!
